A lot depends on the dealership. If it is a Chevy dealer, for example, employees get a price level known as GMS pricing after 6 months of employment. Not as much as people make it out to be. Usually, dealers will sell a new car for $500 above invoice to employees, or a few hundred over cost for a used car. The real bonus is with the interest rate, if they're financing... there's more leeway in the interest rate than the selling price.
