What kind of job can I get if I am not in nursing school yet?

I will be done with my pre reqs for nursing school soon, and will be going to nursing school next semester, but what kind of job can I get right now without having a degree in anything? I'm 19 and my past work experiences have nothing to do with health care. Besides being like a receptionist or front desk clerk at a doctor's office, what else is there? Thanks in advance!

You could become a CNA. That is the best experience you can get before becoming a Nurse. You could possibly work at a place that offers tuition reimbursement, so some of your college could be paid for. The Army Reserve idea is good too.

Well, I know it's similar to a receptionist, but I use to work as a data entry clerk for a doctor's office. I really enjoyed it and learned so much. It might be a good start, even if not an ideal one.

You can possibly get in as a Nurses Aide, or Surg. Tech.

Join the US Army Reserve as a Lab Technician or a Hospital Medic. If you do it smartly you will have a large financial bonus, college paid for, but most importantly it will expose you to many experiences you wouldn't otherwise have. I am in the Army Reserve. Email me if I can help. David.

You could get a unit secretary job, patient care tech, phlebotomist, lab tech, pharmacy tech, ER tech or patient registration job at any hospital. Being you're anticipating on becoming a nurse, it plays in your favor. Just check the websites of your local hospitals for jobs.
