physical therapist transitioning into other job fields......?

I am a current student getting ready to enter the dpt program for physical therapy. I am wondering if there are any pt's out there that have changed their career to another medical profession. and if so to what, and was it hard to do? also, does anybody know what the future projection for the SALARIES for physical therapist are? I know some new grads being hired for 60K. I just want to know if there will be future growth for the salaries...... The bottom line is really I think that PT's are underpaid.....
