What are some good undergraduate degrees to get before going to med school?

I mean like, lots of people become pharmacists before med school so they can get there prerequisites and have a fall back job. Are there any other good fall back "degrees" that involve medicine?

You can major in anything -- as long as you take the required pre-med classes. However, it is always a good idea to do more than the minimum requirements. All of the sciences are good degree options. Chemistry and biology in particular have tons of job choices and will help with medical studies.
