Military deaths?

You know in movies and such, where the dad or someone from the family dies and the black car pulls up to the house and informs the family of the death? Who from the military tells them that? Like what is the name of the job?- I don't really know, I don't think it's a soldier...

They are soldiers. They get the reports from commanders or battle budies that were/are at the scene.

Another Temporary Duty<TDY>is the Skeleton Crew. They pick up the remains of people mainly miltary personnel.

George and dick should have to go to each family and beg forgiveness for ordering their family member to their death! At the very least it should be the fallen soldiers commanding officer that has to tell their family that solder has died and why!

I do this for a living. I work at the Casualty Assistance Center (CAC). There are 27 Conus (state side) CAC's and 6 Oconus(outside the states). I actually train the soldiers to do this duty.
