My EFC went up bad! I don't know if I'll be able to go to school next year.?
So I'm gonna be attending RPI for the last time (senior year), and the tuition plus everything else is going to be 50k in 2008-2009. My EFC used to be 8k for the past three years, but now it went up 31k because my dad got pensions from his old job. This means that my need will be between 20k-18k. I have merit scholarships that cover 20k, but I'm not sure if they used them to cover my need because they were awarded for merit not for need. I'm just afraid that I will lose my Perkins loans, subsidized Stafford loans and workstudy. MY dad told me that this last year he will not help me pay for college, so I don't know if there's anything i can do. THANKS
