What is a good job for someone who is hearing impaired?

I have been wearing hearing aids since I was 30, I am now 43 and searching for a job that will be more "friendly" to my hearing impairment. Anyone have any suggestions? I was a 911 dispatcher until my hearing got worse. So I have medical/ fire/ and law enforcement training.

You can basically do anything that does not require a phone. I'm hearing impaired also, and as long as I steer clear of jobs requiring long phone hours (i.e. 911 dispatcher like your past position, customer service rep, telemarketer) I've never had a problem.
