How long does it take to reach to a good level of C++ programming for commercial applications?
I have worked around 1 year on C programming at university and work as an electrical engineer. I also have a pretty good knowledge on OOP with C++ and now I am implementing one of my course project using Classes concepts. I would like to have a competitive knowledge about C++ and VC++ for commercial applications. Could you please tell me which references I should study? and how long does it take with 5 hours/day studying and implementing to reach to this level?

Dude, the hardest part is coming up with the idea for a commercial product, not programming it. Programmers are a dime a dozen.
