what is the diff btw sales associate and store management position?

bc i'm applying a job in Pier 1 imports. thanks :)

Please be aware that they are vastly different job levels. If you qualify for 1 you probably don't qualify for the other. Sales associates are pretty much bottom of the food chain. And store manager is one of the highest positins in the store, if not the highest. It depends on the store. Most management positions... More

A sales associate is a salesperson. A store management position is the sales associates boss.

i got confused by this stuff to for a while! i was like, what position am i applying for? but basically a sales associate is a general term for just the regular workers whose jobs are just like cashier, organizing stuff, helping people out all that stuff and it's really any store you go to, whether its food or clothes...
