What does an analytical chemist do?
Let's say that you have a sample of an unknown chemical or fluid. Is an analytical chemist the right type of chemist to analyze and identify that specimen? If so, how many years of schooling will it take to get a Ph.D? What are the top schools to go to become one? If it's not the right type of job, what is?
