How do I become a Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse?

Right now, I'm still in high school but I know I want to become a Labor and Delivery Staff nurse. I wanted to know how do I become one. I'd like to go straight into college once I graduate, and get my life started as a Nurse. I wanted to know how long does it take, what is required for being a Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse, etc. Can anyone tell me ?
