How should I handle this work situation?
I am a new employee. One of my counterparts with the same title tries to boss me around. I cordially do not let her. Yet, she cries and cries to anyone who listens that i dont like her...that I am mean to her...that I make her feel 'uncomfortable'...yada yada yada... And she just told our regional director this! Should I just ignore it? Confront her? Or talk to the director?

I would involve my supervisor. There's nothing worse than lies behind your back (especially when you're new and people may not know better).
