is it easy to get hired at a nursing home?
I am going to school to become a medical assistand as well as a medical coder and I still have a lot of school left but just down the road from me there is a nursing home. I was wondering if anyone could give me advise about getting hired at a nursing home. Also i have heard the turnover rate is high. Anyone have real knowledge of how easy it is to get into the nursing home job market.

Just walk in and fill out application. They will hire you on the spot. Most of the time you can start the next day. Don't worry, they will teach you all about poo, diapers, phlegm, etc. It is a very humbling profession. You will never be the same. Have fun.
