What Government function has been privatized and worked well ?

It seems that Consertatives talk incessantly about the need to privatize, but I can't seem to recall anything that has worked or that the government hasn't had to step back in to clean-up the mess left behind after the money is gone. Microsoft is privatized and they charge whatever they want for their products while forcing you to have advertised software on your computer as well. This is the most extreme example. Life insurance is privatized and 90% of Americans don't have any. I can't answer your question
