Would you be willing to work extra hours or a part-time job in order to keep your SUV or Pickup?

I've got two trucks that are like family and I'm not willing to part with them. I've started taking a few consulting jobs so I will not have to let them go - in fact I'm thinking of grabing another while they are dirt cheap. The deals out there are incredible.

Can't blame you for being tempted! But you have to ask, "WHY are the deals so incredible?" Frankly, I don't think gas prices are just going to keep rising and rising and rising - it's already defying the basic laws of economics that they keep rising when the demand has leveled off. Your trucks are ruining our environment and the gas expense is only going to get worse. I say sell them all and get yourself a sweet little car that gets great gas mileage, like a ULEV (ultra low emission vehicle).

I've got a Dodge Ram and a H2, and I'm going to keep on driving them regardless of the cost so if it comes down to it I would work extra to keep them.
