I am about to get a BA in Sociology. How hard it it to get a teaching job?

I really want a job when I get out of college, and I want to teach. Does it depend on the area or state that I teach in? I know some states require a MA to teach, but most don't. How competitive is it? I live in Tampa, but want to move somewhere else. Tenn, TX, Co, Nc, Ut, and Ga are the states that I am looking at. I want to teach social studies, but I am willing to teach another subject.
