Coca-killer?

I recently found out about the scandalous crimes the coca-cola company are committing. In many of their factories, especially in Colombia, workers and union leaders are being tortured, illegally detained by 'official' officers (who are working with the coca-cola company), and even murdered. I was appalled, and have decided never to buy coca cola products. (This includes fanta, sprite, minute maid, etc etc in case you weren't aware) How many other people have heard about these violations of human rights? For more information, search 'killer coke' on the internet. It's all there. I agree with everyone saying you can't believe everything on the internet, what made me more concerned about the issue was one of my kids telling me about a geography lesson she'd had, discussing how coca-cola plants are affecting the economy in local areas etc. so i did a bit of research... make your own minds up.

I'm aware of some of the articles your referring to. what you have to do is decide whats "Internet B/S" and whats real. Coca Cola is a company that inspires many urban myths.

Just because it's on the Internet doesn't make it true. I say this because you have to take things like this seriously, but VERIFY it through several reliable sources before absolutely believing it.

I am in Africa. What has Colombia got to do with me? Why can't the workers there resign and look for work elsewhere? Is coca-cola the only company in Colombia? Did the Government of Colombia felt unconcerned? Thank you for the news, however, one man's food is another man's poison
