Way from home?

How big of an issue would you find it if your partner is away from home for long periods of time, and cant tell you when it will be?

I havent been in that situation yet Barend, but am slwoly heading there. I'm not sure how I'll be able to deal with it, its rather upsetting at times. I would be peeved off because it would be nice to plan things but if that is his job and pays for the mortgage then I would just have to accept it.

I imagine that I entered the relationship knowing that that would be one of the criteria. I would accept it, adapt to it and love him all the more each time he arrives home. Being away does not mean loss of contact.

I'm faced with that situation quite a few time. But lucky my partner respects me enough and trusts me. If he were in the same situation I would only want whats best for him. .
