What is the best concentration to study for Administrative/HR positions?
I'm going to complete my bachelors degree, and I would like to be more marketable for the Administrative Assistant and HR Generalist positions available in my area. I have a lot of admin. experience that can count for experiential credit, but I wonder if I'm better off studying in business admin or cultural studies to round out my education... Any thoughts? The school I am enrolled in offers communication as a concentration in cultural studies.

Business Administration by far. Cultural studies sounds more like a liberal arts discipline which is not going to be the focus of the business you will interview with. They need to recognize the name of the concentration as something that has perpared you to do a good job.

Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource. If they do not offer a Human Resource concentration then you can just major in Business Administration.
