Can an agent still take people through a home after a bid is accepted while a buyer is waiting for financing?

I put an offer in on a home. It was accepted. I am just waiting on financing and still have a few more days. The real estate agent is still showing the home. The people that are selling it really want us to buy it. The agent is saying that he still has the right to show because we have not offically closed yet. Is there anything that we can do?
