Does appearance such as weight, height matter when getting a job interview?

Just curious because Im not that actually that fit but planning on going into few places like publix, micro center to get job applications.

It shouldn't matter as long as you have the job skills and the personality they want. Good looks usually only matter if your a sales person. Plus you wouldn't want a job that goes by looks alone. Because not all of us were blessed by the good looks gene pool.

Height shouldn't matter at all. Weight shouldn't either, but I know in some cases it does and the person interviewing shouldn't be using weight as a hiring factor. Appearance however does matter. When interviewing one should present themselves in proper attire. A clean. neat appearance goes a long ways.

Retail jobs don't discriminate, MOST are equal opportunity employers. Read the fine print. My tip to you is, when sitting down in a group interview, talk louder and be more aggressive then everyone else

At Publix it will not matter.... if you are not feeling confidant about yourself....just dress well and go to an interview with the best attitude possiable... when going to Publix you will go to a computer to fill out an application... a manager may see you filling out the app. so you so want to look good... if you are...
