Are there any legitimate work from home jobs?

Has anyone found a legitimate work from home job? All I see are jobs that appear to be scams. They all seem to want you to pay for something. I don't want to pay I just need to work and e********y. In the 21st century with technology as advanced as it is you would think that a person could get a legitimate work from home job in the USA that pays well. If anyone knows of any legitimate job opportunities with no fees please let me know. Thank you.

I'd like to take this opportunity to clarify a common misconception. That is that all home based opportunities that have associated start-up fees are scams.
