i just want to hear other people's opinions about having good looks as a means to penetrate the media industry... well, i know it's obvious that being a good-looking person is needed before entering media industry. i just want to know more from other people.

Hi You haven't been very specific. There are thousands of jobs in the media that are behind the scenes where looks don't mean anything. It's how well you can do your job whether a technician, sound person, camera operator etc. Good luck in your quest.

It helps but it's not the only thing. If you're talking about serious journalism you have to be able to write and speak and be natural in front of the camera. Believe me, it's a lot harder than in looks... More
