Do you think capitalism is bad for women?

Capitalism depends on competition and can create a high-stress environment. In such an environment, men thrive, but women aren't built for such stress... it is in women's nature to be caring and not as competitive... so setting up a society around competition can be concievably negative for women... what do you think?

I would say that some women are raised by their families to work well in a high-stress environment, and that ultimately nurture plays a much bigger role in determining the competitiveness of a human being than nature... More

Yes noname, what you say is indeed true, at least as far as the Western concept of women is concerned. Out East, women are supposed to be even more submissive and un-competitive, but in fact they tend to be competitive to an almost cut-throat degree, especially in money matters... More
