How soon (or should I) get back in contact with a job recruiter?
I was contacted via email from a job website by a recruiter for a job after they saw my resume. They gave the job description and told me to email back a copy of my resume and a few other tidbits of information. This was the day before yesterday. I'm not sure if I should wait to hear from them since they contacted me first or do I call or email back. Thanks.

Recruiters have a lot on their plate, so it won't hurt to give them a call or email- it shows your persistence and it also keeps you fresh on their minds. Remember, they are getting resumes all day long, so you want to stand out.

Give them a little bit more time and call them on Monday. I'm assuming you weren't the only person they contacted, they may have received a few more resumes and they're probably trying to decide who they are going to call in for an interview. Call them first thing Monday morning to see if they made a final decision.
