I have an interview at Kmart do you need experience to work their?

I applied for the loss prevention associate job opening. I wanted to know if you need experience in order to get hired. I have no experience but a Security guard license and completed training course. Will i need experience to get the loss prevention job at Kmart?

I used to work for kmart and I can tell you first hand that NO you do not need experience to work there. They actually prefer to hire new workers without experience because they can train them easier on their store policies. Just like most jobs they probably will train you for the position. So after they teach you the basics, play a game of football with your buddies so you can practice on tackling people.

There is usually no experience needed for that position. Experience helps - but isn't required.

As with every position, your employability depends on whom you are up against and what job you are applying for. In your case, I would think that KMart would be looking for a little more than some rube off the street, but I would think that your training and license that you should be pretty well qualified.
