Americans is it true there are 20 million illegals living amongst you?

That number is staggering. How can anyone remain undetected in your high technology world? Would one not need some sort of identification to apply for a job or service?

A lot of business owners benefit by hiring undocument workers because they can pay them less. And because they really do the jobs that most natives won't do, they continue to work in large numbers Thus, employers don't always check for that sort of thing

That's the estimate. There are several "sanctuary" cities that refuse to report them if they are arrested for something. They also get fake id's that look real good.

More than 20 million, the media is just trying to make look better than it really is. I live in California, they are all over the place and like 1/4 of the population speaks no English.

case in point:this has and always will be a case of political correctness gone rampant.god forbid we offend any ethnic background for flowing over the boarders when we cant take care of our own people. and how come nobody ever calls the country's these people come from out on the carpet. they have no responsibility?
Answered By: belairjr - 7/17/2008

Yep it is true. Just come to California and you will see them in action. They get away with it because they use false social security numbers to get jobs for one thing. They sneak across the boarders during the night, usually on foot or they pay someone to drive them across while they hide in the back of the vehicle... More

Of course there are 20 million..probably more even.. they are the people picking the vegetables you buy from the grocery store and cleaning your hotel rooms. The government doesn't demand that employers verify citizenship for a job, and there is reasoning behind it.. the illegal situation has gotten too out of control... More

When the conspiracy is to create a One World Government, the purpose is to bring down a country. Why do you think our border agents get imprisoned for doing their jobs?
