Look, I am not entirely sure either way, but the people who make the case for 9/11 as an inside job have certainly raised many valid questions. The people arguing against 9/11 as an inside job generally are people who have left out established facts and/or are somehow tied to the Bush administration, which raises even more questions. Things that disturb me include the following: 1.)There was a power down at the WTC in the week before 9/11, and there were numerous "workmen" "rewiring" various telecom wires, and from all accounts the building was wide open. Security was nill, and the owner of the WTC security just happened to be Bush's brother. People who worked at the WTC were uneasy about this as nothing like this had ever happened before at the WTC. 2.) Fact, a jet fuel fire cannot but hot enough to melt steel. This is a stone cold fact, and yet tons of melted steel was found, and the remains of the WTC continued to burn for weeks beneath the rubble at extreme temperatures. 3.) Fact, pictures of steel girders jutting from the ruins show 45 degree angle cuts, melted cuts, exactly like the cuts used in a controlled demo0. The edges clearly showed melted steel. 4.) Several hundred people who were in the WTC reported explosions throughout the building between the times of impact and collapse, including survivors of the basement explosions and those in the lobby where the windows were literally blow out. Several reporters, police, and firefighters also reported these explosions, and reports of such are in the archived news reports. 5.) The building's design makes the total failure of both buildings impossible, as the remain floors supported by steel should have stood even if the upper floors collapsed, and the upper floors if they did fail, should have tipped over the side, so say the majority of engineers and physicists 6.) Building 7, not heavily damaged, also miraculously collapsed. This Building was "pulled" (a term meaning a controlled demolition) by the orders of the owner, who happened to admit this on the infamous PBS special. Since it takes days to set the charges, how were they able to "pull" the building unless it was already wired with thermite? 7.) If we can't trust our governments to tell the truth, look at what many foreign nations' intelligence gathers and governments have said, most quietly and/or internally, but still you can find it. Too many have concluded that aspects of our government had to know about or be involved with 9'11. That's what even our allies have said, but you won't see that in our New Papers or on our TV. 8.) How is it possible that some of the 19 people supposedly involved in the hijackings are actually alive and documented living in their native countries? How is it that some of the supposedly dead passengers are also still alive? You don't hear about that in our news either. In fact, the wife of a government official is still to my knowledge living in Europe. She was confirmed dead (yep, DNA and everything, supposedly) but somehow magically she's not. 9.) How can our military fail to intercept even just the plane headed to the Pentagon? That level of incompetence is actually impossible, irregardless of the lies and explanations so far put forth. We had fighter jets literally sitting on the runway just outside Washington, DC and we had plenty of notice that the plane was on the way. What is up with that nonsense? 10.)There is more evidence that aspects of our government, who are documented as saying it would take "a new Pearl Harbor" to create their war on terror, were in on the 9/11 conspiracy than there is evidence that JFK was murdered via conspiracy. I am a patriotic American who loves this nation. I believe with all my heart that there are valid questions to be asked and accounted for. The illegal removal of evidence from ground zero, the stonewalling of the Bush administration of an investigation, the linking of Iraq to 9/11, and the numerous volumes of evidence that was ignored leaves me to believe that someone, and most likely a large and powerful segment of out government, MAY have been involved in the planning and implementation of the 9/11 attacks. I say MAY. If not, then why not allow these questions to be independently investigated? Will we ever know the truth? Probably not. This will just fester as the JFK conspiracy has. I just hope that the rumor of a yet to be named foreign government which has a collection of 9/11 physical evidence is true. After all, the story of what happened to the remains of the builds is a fascinating story in itself. Just be open to the possibility that something is amiss. I sat in my home and watched that second plane fly into the World Trade Center. I watched as the buildings tilted and finally came down. I watched as those thousands died. I do not for one minute believe that the US government had any part of that disaster. I believe it was Al Queda operatives, terrorists, who not only took part on September 11 but who planned the whole thing. I also believe that Osama Bin Ladin was the money behind the operation. The key to your question is the fact that you asked if the U.S. government had "no involvement" in the 9-11 tragedy. Most people seem to jump to the polar opposite sides in this debate. Either you believe the government planned and committed the assault, or you think that everyone of that opinion is a crackpot and believe the government's explanations about what happened that day. I think the answer is somewhere in between. I find it difficult to believe that the U.S. government would plan an attack of that magnitude on its own people because there's far too much to lose. There's no doubt that there'd be a full-scale revolution by the people if the government was proven to be the masterminds of the event. In fact, you probably wouldn't even have to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt. If enough evidence came out to make it look very likely, there'd be a very serious problem in the U.S.. Having said that, there are too many questions that have not been answered by the government - or the answers that they've provided are very weak and unbelievable. What makes matters worse is that the government has been attacking those who ask questions, linking all doubters to terrorist sympathizers. That kind of attack on free speech is dangerous and should never be trusted. I've always had a funny feeling that the 9-11 attacks are a combination of terrorist hatred for the U.S. and corruption by the Bush administration. I think that the terrorists hijacked planes and intended to hit the World Trade Center. I also believe that the government knew that the attack was coming, but did nothing about it. I personally believe that the government had no involvment. To deny this is to deny rock solid scientific evidence, most of which I have read in various reports. They are extremely convincing. Also, use common sense. If the US Government were involved in the greatest fraud, or cover up, of all time, killing thousands and requiring the UNWAVERING SILENCE of the thousands involved, certaintly they would have shut down that college punk Paul Avery's little documentary. The reason you dont see the plane on the security videotape is that it records an image every 1/2 second, not in real time. The plane was travelling so fast that it passed the camera and hit the building, exploding in a much smaller amount of time. There are plenty of eyewitnesses that saw the plane coming in, and there were allsorts of pieces easily identifiable taken out from the wreckage. The US Govt. had nothing to do with any of the attacks, even Bin Laden took credit for the attacks as a show of dissaproval for some US policies. Like somebody else on here said, for the US to have committed this disgraceful act, too many people would have to have been involved in it to ever be able to keep it quiet, and these conspiracy theorists are a disgrace to America by trying to tar fellow Americans with the same brush as they do these psycho filthy muslims. After 9/11 I did a little research on this subject, looking at both points of view. I have spent alot of time especially looking at the Pentagon side of 9/11, and I find it hard to believe that a plane was involved. I have seen the available security tape, and have heard the eyewitness accounts. At the time, CNN reporters stated that they could see no evidence of a plane, and then the very next day recanted and said that there was plenty of evidence of a plane, I have to wonder why this is so. I am not disputing the fact that 9/11 was a very tragic event in American history, and the many human losses hit the country hard. But I don't believe all of the official stories. 	Why do people think 9/11 was an inside job? It doesn't make sense why it would be. The results were all negative. We didn't profit from it, it was one of the factors of the early 2000s recession. It's not like we wanted anything Afghanistan has (don't say we wanted their oil, I'll just laugh at how dumb you are for thinking we wanted to go to an almost oil-less country for their oil). Most of you probably don't know that the Taliban had been warning us for 5 years prior that the al-Qaeda was planning a mass-terrorist attack, we were just to preoccupied with Bill Clinton getting BJs under the Resolute Desk, among other things. Now on to the physics: It makes a lot more sense that building 7 was hit by debris, then it being a controlled demolition. Don't pull the "it's 400 feet away, how was it hit by debris?". Well, while 400 feet is a good distance away, you fail to realize that WTC 1 was 1,350 feet tall, more than 3x the distance between the buildings. Then there's going to be the idiots who say "How could a fire burn through steel?". Well, you also fail to realize that WTC was made of HOLLOW STRUCTURAL STEEL. Structural steel has one of the lowest melting points of any steel; it has a melting point of about 1,571f, while kerosene has the ability to burn well over 2,000f. The fires on the inside of the building also probably had a convectional effect, which would've made it even hotter. Oh, and not all of WTC wasn't completely steel, it was made with a good amount of aluminum, which melts at about 1,221f. So, please prove to me how 9/11 was an inside job. I don't "trust the government" haha. 	How do I get a job with Dodgy work history and no experience? Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. But I hate cashiering because it's too easy and I want a job that is more interesting. Any suggestions for me on how to get a job that is NOT Retail with the type of background I have right now? 	Why honesty, hard work and dedication have no place at work? Recently I have overlooked for a project at work and I am unable to accept it why? I am hard working, dedicated, maintain a very professional decorum, very cordial with my colleagues and bosses, give respect to one and all. Still people who take the p***, argue with managers, gossip mongers have been selected for some very responsible positions at work. I seriously can't get my head around it why, why unprofessional people who have no work ethics being selected over me, whereas I have a track record of excellent performance and never shy away from any work my manager ask me to do? I am at my lowest point and not getting hold of my manager to ask the question why not me, why them who can't even bother? 	What to wear to a job interview VS a career fair? So I have a nice white button up shirt, business skirt and pants, and a suit jacket. I'm applying for a software development job and I'm very short and can look young so I'm trying to look adult, yet professional. I'm also attractive so I'm trying not to look too sexy. For the career fair I'm thinking of wearing just my nice shirt and a skirt with low heels. My reasoning being it's approachable and attractive without going overboard since the career fair hosts are mostly younger male recent grads. I want to be remembered but not intimidating. For my interviews I was thinking pants, suit jacket (power suit).
