My boyfriend is having a hard time finding a job?

We live in Greensboro, North Carolina. He needs a job bad!!! He does not have any parents so he has to support himself. Any advice or if you know a job in this area please let me know. Also, please be nice. We are going threw a hard time!

i m having a hard time finding a job too but monster, craigslists, careerbuilder and things liek that work...... if he really needs one fast and badly then try a temp agency, its a start at least!....he may have to settle for little retail shops or food stores in the meantime

Marine Corps would work. I don't recommend it. It's not the best thing in the world and it's definitely not for everyone. He would be able to send money home during boot camp and possibly even be stationed in Camp Lejeune or Cherry Point, both Marine bases located on North Carolina.

Walmart, Sears/Kmart, and fast food places are almost guaranteed to hire him. Have you tried those? Also, he should talk to family or friends about finding work, those connections can be helpful.

Have him be professional and nice to everyone. Good hygiene is important but I'm sure that he's already got that down. Have him follow up on his applications or resumes so that they know he is interested. Don't be too picky. If he can, have him apply at a temp agency.
