What to wear for a job interview for a customer service or sales rep/associate job?

This is going to be my first job interview and I am not really sure what to wear. I am pretty sure this job will consist of me making phone calls for one reason or another. I'm only 17 so getting a suite is pretty much out of the question, what can I wear that looks kind of conservative but will be comfortable for my age?

Suits can get reallllly expensive! I've never purchased one, instead I usually wear a nice button-up shirt, long-sleeved (you can purchase these at several stores - Express, Macy's, Nordstrom, JC Penney, etc) and the prices won't be horribly high... More

Wear a nice skirt or dress pants...the skirt shouldn't be real short. Wear a dressy blouse...NOT lowcut. If you have any tattoos, cover them and take the rings out of your nose and tongue.

Solid color dress shirt, khakis or slacks, dress shoes, and preferably a tie. If you really want the job, you need to make a good impression with a professional appearance.

Before your interview go to the place and see what everyone else is wearing... then dress "one level," above that for the interview. ie they wear t-shirt, you wear polo they wear polo, you wear button down they have ties, you wear tie and jacket.
