1. Start Brett Favre in Green Bay for the next three years
2. Fire Ted Thompson (and maybe Mark Murphy)
3. Trade Aaron Rodgers within the next year or two

As for the tampering, what tampering? Brett Favre never had a team phone. I think it is possible that Favre might have called his former mentor, the offensive coordinator in Minnesota. But how is that different from him calling Steve Mariucci or Mike Holmgrem? If Favre called Holmgrem, would they file tampering charges then? Favre has called Holmgrem in the past. Favre has definitely called Mariucci even during this recent debate. What if Mariucci got a coaching offer for a team? Packers GM Ted Thompson is showing his true colors again by lying to everyone. How many times is Thompson going to lie before people start to realize that Favre is not to blame for the mess in Packerland?

There is a problem in Green Bay. We all know this. Forget all this other nonsense.

Here is the very easy solution:

Start Brett Favre. It is that simple. Do it for the team. Do it for the league. Do it for the fans everywhere. Do it soon!

Ted Thompson is so enamored with his own ego and imaginary legacy that he can't get past the simple truth. Green Bay will not win without Brett Favre. Mark Murphy is not very smart either. His comments have been shady at times. I did not like him when Green Bay selected him to be President of the organization. And my misgivings may turn out to be correct. When he stated that it was sad that a player goes out disgracefully like Favre and his ability is going, but then in the same breath says that Favre had one of his best seasons last year, I just shook my head. Come on, Murphy, you can't contradict yourself like that. Murphy should see the truth behind Thompson's lies. I'm losing respect for all of Green Bay's staff.

The sad fact that most fans seem not to see the truth about Favre and the Packers disturbs me. This underlies the problem that America has with much of how it goes about making choices with anything. In the case of Favre, you have a player that gives his heart and soul to the game and to his team. He played through more pain, mental, physical and emotional than anyone that I know of. He overcame addiction to pain medication and alcohol. He dealt with his father's death and played in a "I can't believe it" Monday Night game. He supported his wife through her ordeal with b****t cancer. He suffered as his family lost their home during Hurricane Katrina. He lost his Brother-in-Law. And through all of this, he played the game he loves. Who can give more than Favre has to the NFL? Who can give more to a franchise and to the fans? HE LOVES THIS SPORT! Why do people call him selfish?

Then you have Ted Thompson who has been repeatedly pushing Favre away since 2004. Ted Thompson, who has wanted, for selfish reasons, to start his own legacy. He stared at #4 with devilish eyes, jealous of his fame. Ted Thompson wants a legacy. So Thompson cleared out the Packers players. He dumped all the talent and loaded up the roster with young players.

Remember that the Packers were a winning franchise BEFORE Thompson took over. The Packers had won back to back to back NFC North championships BEFORE Thompson got the job in 2004. The Packers were the 2002, 2003, and 2004 NFC North Champions.

When Ted Thompson took over, he broke up the best offensive line in the league. This led to discontinuity on the offense in 2005. There was a rash of injuries, the worst I have ever seen. Favre had no RB or WR at all. He had no one to throw to or hand off to. They were picking up people to play that no one had heard of. It was remarkable that Favre even made it through the season, let alone put up any kind of numbers at all.

It is no wonder that 2005 turned out to be a disastrous 4-12 year. It was Ted Thompson's fault, but Mike Sherman took the fall. And many people pointed the finger at Favre as well saying that he was getting too old to play.

As Thompson started tossing veterans, the team eventually got healthier. Favre regained some continuity with the team. Favre learned the system and gained confidence with McCarthy, the new coach. Favre brought the team back. Favre took the team and made them better than they actually are without him. And with Favre, they nearly won a title last year.

And who gets the credit? Thompson. Sad.

Some people say they are sick of Brett Favre saying he will or will not retire year after year. Favre should not put his team through this all the time. The team should just move on because Favre has been so awful. But can you blame Favre after what Thompson has put him through all these years? When Favre first suggested that he might retire, everyone was stunned. Why would Favre even think such a thing? When asked, Favre replied that it depends if the Packers want him back, a line he has restated over the years. That says a lot about where the relationship between Favre and Thompson was WAY back then. This mess was a long time coming.

And now, near the end of that relationship, people don't see the whole truth and turn on the one person who is true to the game, Favre. There is nothing more sad in all of sports than this. Soon Favre will be gone and where will Thompson be? He'll be in Green Bay, stuck in the bed he made for himself. Mark my words. Thomspon will be regarded as one of the worst GMs in history. Green Bay will suffer for years once Favre is truly gone. At least they will until Thompson is fired.

But time will tell the tale. Once Favre is gone, Ted Thompson's choices (bad drafts and off-season moves) will continue to hurt the team. Without Favre to bail them out, there will be nothing left for the Packers.

Those who are currently sick of the Brett Favre's "antics" will wonder what went wrong.

My only answer to you is...learn. Try to watch and see the whole picture if you can. Do this not just in sports but in life as well.

The Packers should start Favre. He is the proven better QB and almost got them to the Superbowl last season. If Rodgers can't handle that they should trade Rodgers. To me, the question i simple. Which QB has the best chance of taking the Pakers the furthest this season. in my mind, there is no question that it is Brett Favre.

Who ever has the best camp should win the job.

Evaluate the talent not the name.

If Favre wins the job let him play

If Rodgers wins the job then Farve should man up and be the 2nd string QB and not cry about all that he has done for the franchise and that he is not being treated fair. JMPO

The Packers have already stated that Rodgers will be the starting quarterback. Even though Brett is arguably the best of all time, the staff in Green Bay feel that it was Brett's time to go and it was finally time for Rodgers to come out of Favre's shadow.

Once Favre announced his retirement, the coaching staff and front office in Green Bay put all their confidence in Rodgers. Favre has already expressed that he doesn't feel "welcome" in Green Bay but until a trade is made or he is released, he has no choice but to report to Packers camp.

As far as the tampering charges, I think it is being blown way out of proportion. Yes, Favre shouldn't have used a cell phone issued by the Packers to contact the quarterback coach in Minnesota but they had developed a friendship so who's to say he was calling him and asking for them to make the Packers an offer?

I hope all of this is settled soon.

If Brett Favre comes back they should start him unless Rodgers gets a better rating then Brett Favre in minicamp. I think if Ted Thompson doesn't start whoevers best in minicamp he should be fired.

Let them play it out. If they're both in camp they should compete for the job. If Brett's as great as everyone says, he should win the job. He did give up his starting role in March and it's been Rodgers ever since. It's Brett's to earn back, not to be given back. Personally if Rodgers can play well through all of this, he deserves the position for years to come. Hopefully Favre backers realize this. You can't stake your future in a 39-year-old who keeps losing the heart to play.

Ok. dude, listen please. I used to be on the other side and wanted Favre to start. He led them to the NFC championship last year and is the better quarterback by far. But the ppl that want favre too start are probably not even packers fans. Listen, the managers and coaches are not idiots!!! they know what they are doing. Its not about favre and whos better, its about the team succeding in the future! If favre was too come back and start, rodgers would sit out 1 more year, and based on his contract, he would end up leaving the packers. Favre comes back. they win games. he leaves. Then what!!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!! rodgers would of never gotten his oppurtunity to get experience and would just be more rusty, and a year older. I love Brett Favre, but he cant play. If rodgers was to leave after a year of favre starting, the packers would be in a f****d up quarterback situation just like the chicago bears. Its about green bay!!!!!!!!!!! there future. Rodgers, will be there for years to come, Favre is only back for 1 year!!!! is 1 year more important than the future years with the packers???? No. Favre made his decision late and should get traded for a 3rd or 4th round pick. Teams will not give up more than that to play favre for only 1 year. The coaches and managers are smart ppl. If i was the coach i would do the same thing. Weather Rodgers does bad or not, its time to stop waiting. We will just have to wait and see what Rodgers can do . Now, if he did bad, of course Favre would go in! But Favre doesnt want the bench, and i could completely understand that. Whatever happens, he better not be picky about his limited options. The packers cannot trade him to division rivals!!! Would you want to hurt your own football team in the future??? No. I respect Brett Favre, but he cannot start with the packers. Its about the Green Bay Packers succeeding, which many ppl dont understand yet,

For me it's very simple, start Brett Favre. He was one of the top QB's last year, and almost won them a Superbowl. The Packers know that he is the better QB, that is why they won't trade him to Minnesota or Chicago. If they thought he was washed up they wouldn't have a problem doing it. And although I've got nothing against Aaron Rodgers, I don't believe the Packers have much faith in him. They drafted Brian Brohm this year, a QB who was considered by many to be the top pro ready prospect. Aaron Rodgers is going to have it tough. The first incomplete pass he throws everyone will be booing and chanting Brett's name. But honestly, I kind of hope they trade Favre away and he comes back and put's up one of his inspirational games against the Packers. I think Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy are the only people in the NFL, aside from the Patriots, Colts and Jags management, who wouldn't want Brett Favre on there team. Training Camp is going to be a circus, feel bad for Aaron Rodgers a little, because nothing he will do will ever be good enough

Let Favre come back for one more year. And then step aside. Give the fans one more year. Its not just a loss to packer fans but football fans. I have watched Favre for years and years. And an NFL without Favre just seems like it would really be missing something. It will be like football lost its face. The man wants to come back and nobody in the league is that fun to watch. Nobody shows that kind of passion and excitement. Favre gives them the best chance to win so in my opinion you let him come back and try one more year to get to the superbowl. I don't care that hes questioned coming back for the several years. I know Im always happy when he decides to come back. I just want to see one of the best players in the league play. The rest is just the stupid media clogging up peoples brains.....All i care about it the actual gameand the players...not the media or all the suits...

Ok, I know some of the problems a lot of us have in regards to American Football. I will address some of the common ones now in hopes that you will try and see past the ignorant labels many Brits have applied to the sport. 1. It's rugby with pads, what are they all scared to take a hit? American football is only SUPERFICIALLY similar to rugby, so get that comparison out your noggin right now, it's just wrong. It also has harder hits in areas of the body and at angles that Rugby forbids. Look at it like this. Where Rugby stops the hits with rules, American Football stops the hits with pads. 2. American Footballers are always stopping and taking breaks, this makes it VERY boring. Yes, the pace of American Football does take a long time to get used to. You have to understand the way the game is played to fully understand all the stops. It is like a field of battle, or a chess game, the coaches have hundreds of plays of dozens of formations that each have their own strengths and weaknesses when compared to what the other team's formation is, how many yards (yes they use yards) left to move the downs, how far from the endzone the ball is, how much time is left on the game clock, and several other factors after that. Each team's coach spends days each week planning out each game, and what formations they will use to exploit the opposing team's weaknesses. 3. The AF players have no skill. Yes, they do. Their skills are just very specified for each position. Look at it, again, like chess, each position, or piece, can do different things to move or stop the ball. The Running back can carry the ball for quick gains of yard. The Full back can push through a strong line of defence. A Tight end can stop an unusually strong defensive wave of pressure OR it can run out to catch the ball for a large gain. The wide recievers are used to quickly out distance the defensive players and if that's not possible to grab the ball from right in front of the defender's eyes, for a usually large gain, the Wide Reciever can even run the ball on occasion of the caoch wants to really surprise the defense. The Quarterback can run the ball for a small unexpected gain, can throw the ball to the ground to stop the game and prevent a turnover to the defense, and can throw the ball to any eligible receiver which includes, the running back, the full back, the tight end, and the wide receivers. Then there is the Offensive line. a group of massively large and strong men who's job is to stop the defense from rushing to the quarterback and ending the play quickly and usually for a loss of yards. The Tight end can become part of the offensive line at times, as can both the full and running backs. Defensive players include Defensive Tackles and Defensive Ends. Players that are only focused on getting to the quarterback before he get's rid of the ball. (The qb is nearly always the one who first touches the ball on offense) If the QB hands the ball to the RB (running back) then the defensive tackle/ defensive end is to do his best to put the RB on the ground. They are usually right on the line of scrimmage that separates the offense from the defense. Then there are linebackers. Linebacker's jobs are to stop any short pass, but mostly to make sure no run with the ball gains any positive yards. They are usually about 5 or 6 yards behind the DT/DEs. Then there are he Corner backs, they're job is to watch the reciever's and stop any medium to long gain of yards through the air,. Last is the Safeties, Strong and Free. They're job is to be the last line of defense if the other players all fail to stop the ball, as well as to guard against any deep pass. AKA your "Hail Mary" There is also the place kicker who's job it is to kick the ball in between the uprights for a score of the 3 points called field goals. The last player is the punter, he is mean to kick the ball to the recieving defense in the event that the offense is pushed back and is about to turn the ball over to the defense if they fail again. So the punter drop kicks the ball as far down the field as he can to give his defense the best chance to stop the opposing teams offense. so each position does it's own job and they all require different skills. Now I am just trying to silence some of the unfair labels we Brits have given American Football my explanation is a little shaky and missing some key info, Like rules of the game and basic game play. I suggest you find some website that goes into more and clearer detail if this has opened your mind up at all. By the way, I still love Rugby for more than A.F.. But the game does deserve a second look by many of us.

So today I went in for an interview and I was going in for the 2nd interview by the head chief executive. now this is where it got weird, so she asked me about my previous jobs and said how much she liked that product over that product. then she started talking about her daughter? an her divorce ...then how she didn't finish college because she was making more money doing what she did for this company ... then she talked about how her teenage daughter is a handful... I just played it cool thinking she was using some sort of psychology thing to trick me into saying something stupid. the interview ended and she seemed happy an I was escorted to the door... now I'm freaking confused? is this normal behavior for an executive? like it felt like she was going to burst into tears at one point and tell me her life problems... is this normal? was she trying to see how I react or something?

Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. But I hate cashiering because it's too easy and I want a job that is more interesting. Any suggestions for me on how to get a job that is NOT Retail with the type of background I have right now? I also realize I have to go to college to get certain types of jobs, I am talking about what I can do right here right now.

I'm applying for a software development job and I'm very short and can look young so I'm trying to look adult, yet professional. I'm also attractive so I'm trying not to look too sexy. For the career fair I'm thinking of wearing just my nice shirt and a skirt with low heels. My reasoning being it's approachable and attractive without going overboard since the career fair hosts are mostly younger male recent grads. I want to be remembered but not intimidating. For my interviews I was thinking pants, suit jacket (power suit). My reasoning being it'll be older execs and HR people (mostly women) so less sexy with the pants but more powerful with the suit jacket. What do you think?!

They lied to my parents and eventually, we just couldn't take it anymore. I got sick of defending myself against boys anyway. Thank God I'm into Martial Arts). I have been here for 4 going on 5 years and I love it! Peace and quiet....most of the time. I still live in a small town and the bullying just continues. So I have to be completely alone to escape it. Life will be better when I move to Canada. Also what you do is very interesting! Thank you very much! I can only take HTML this upcoming school year. Then the other courses become available throughout the years. I can't choose whether C++ comes before Java. It's not all available right away. It becomes available grade by grade. I heard people say $70,000 wasn't a good salary before and that really confused me. My cousin makes that much and she traveled to Spain, France, Atlanta and California recently. I think it is all interesting. New tech always did intrigue me and my mother. I'm just dipping a toe in first though. Just in case, when I go to college, my freshman year will be undecided to sit in on some more classes. I'll see what I like, this a lot, Thank you! Oh by the way, the C++ course is actually a C++ AND Java course! It's all in one. That's helpful :)
