What job can I get at 14 with a work permit?

I'm starting high school this year and I'm really looking forward to getting a part time job somewhere in southern California. I know you can get jobs at 14 but where at?

I started working in a restaurant at the age of 14 with my work permit, they always need peons to do dishes and bus tables. Good luck!

You're mostly limited by the hours you can legally work at your age. Start with retail, grocery stores, food places: not exciting, but its a place to start. When I was 14, i was livin life and enjoying it, without working. And besides, 7 years ago you couldn't work until you were 15 with a permit. Try asking some fast food places, or CRAIGS LIST... www.craigslist.org . Check into that one..
