Around Raleigh Durham there is a place called Research Triangle Park - very high tech area. Recommend "" to post resume. I know Underwriter's Laboratory has a testing facility there - could check their website. Found this websiste as well.

There are a couple of job sites specific to Engineers. I suggest he posts his resume on them and look at jobs in the area as well. Also go to the library and using the sic codes for his type of work look at businesses in the area with those sic codes and go apply.
