How can I wash my Aussie with all that undercoat?

He looks so mangy and every time I brush him, it never looks any better. I use the Furminiator too. And when I was him the water never gets passed his undercoat. What do I do?

I would bring him to a groomer and get him shaved down all over and start over with his hair. =)

Use your HANDS to get through all that undercoat. Use your fingers, that's what they're for. When you're using shampoo, work it into the dog's fur, but be sure to rinse thoroughly... You don't want any shampoo left in there.
