Relocating to Maryland DC/Metro area...

I plan to relocate early next year January if possible. When should I begin looking for employment? Also, does anyone happen to know how the job market is in the area? My professional background has been in healthcare(Aetna) working with reports and db development. However, I will be graduating from college with a degree in Finance in Dec and will be looking for entry level accouting/financial positions. I plan to do my MBA at UMD (accounting major) and continue with my CPA. Any advice would be great! Thanks
