What are some good jobs for a college student trying to get through school?

I have no job experience and will turn 18 in one month. I'm going to California State University of Northridge and am looking for a job that is stable and that pays well (not like taco bell or mcdonalds). Any advice would be great. Thanks! any job search websites would be good too

Generally, a retail job is ideal for college students. Retail stores usually have flexible shifts that work around college schedules and also include nights and weekends, so you'll always have time to work a shift even if your course schedule is all over the place.

serving at a restaurant. this usually works best with a college schedule. also, most restaurants are pretty flexible with your schedule if you need days off. you can work as much or as little as you want/need. and you get tips...which you'll get every day (which really helps in college). good luck!!! :)
