Is Gordon Brown slated by the press whatever he does?

I don't exactly like the guy, but I do see that whatever he does, the press will find a negative angle - something they didn't do with HRH Tony Blair. For example, the new £4billion Royal Navy Aircraft carriers where the press accused him of using it as a political tool - the saving and creation of 10000 jobs. They also said the money could be better spent elsewhere. If he had refused them however, you can be sure that the press would accuse him of neglecting national defence, destroying the royal navy and causing thousands if job losses. and yes before anyone asks, i do work for BAE Systems, designing ships The guy can’t win, I feel for you Gordon
