What are those online Police officers called? And how would I get into that kind of job?

I want to be a Police Officer, But I realize I don't have what it takes to be a normal police officer, I also happen to have a talent for gaming and just plain computers, I'm sure I have what it takes to do this kind of job. HELP ME! I would but I have a couple of problems..... If a criminal record stops you from being law then what about DOG the bikey bounty hunter.

Do you mean computer crimes? They have a unit for that you track people stealing identities, doing kiddie porn, threats, basically anything bad that can be done on a computer they go after.

I know a vice cop who does a lot of computer stuff...pretending to be a teen girl to catch perverts, busting escorts, etc... He ended up doing that after several years of patrol, and after going through the regular police academy.
