Would a tongue or nose ring hurt me getting a job ?

if I were to get one? That is any kind of job, as in retail, child care, receptionist or anything like that. OR what about a tattoo? Well thing is I am 35 and never had any of these and just would like to get one of them before I die. Just a thing with me. Been thinking about it for a while. No one has ever told me that I couldn't have those piercings and I would have taken them out if they requested it but they didn't. Different jobs have different standards but most people are... More

Unfortunately, no matter where you work, despite popularity and variety, tattoos and piercings are not going to be excepted. it depends on where you plan to apply. most corporate type environments frown on nose rings and showing tatts.

For the types of jobs you mentioned a nose or tuong ring would probally be ok. Some employers however not want to hire someone who has face piercings. It may be harder for you to get hired but it won't stop you from finding a job.
