What do you wear to a casual restaurant interview?

I have an interview tomorrow at California Pizza Kitchen for the hostess position and I was wondering what would be a good attire to wear to the interview? Would jeans be okay or is it too informal? Would heels to a little too much?

Look and see what the other hostesses/servers are wearing. I would think for that interview, a nice pair of jeans and a nice shirt would suffice. No t-shirts or ripped up clothing. Nice flats.

Wear a nice pair of kakies and a button up shirt, and of course keep it neat and simple (hair neat and out of face, not too much make-up or jewelry, etc.) Best of luck. =)

Old jeans and a raggy T shirt, in case you slop food on yourself, show them you can fit in casual. Really now, you should dress like a professional, they will be evaluating you, not only how you answer the questions, but how you appear, how you carry yourself, and how you would fit into their business environment. If... More
