Is a bank manager a good job?

I was thinking of taking a course: Business Management (Retail Banking) to become a Bank Manager, but I need to know if it's a good job. I have done some research, but I would like a personal opinion! Is it paid well, when you first start? I would most likely be working for Barclays, as they have a course with Nottingham Trent University? Any information? Thanks!

You usually have to have experience as a loan officer and be a good salesperson in order to be a bank manager. Ask yourself: Do I have any of those skills?

Most banks have a salary scheme for their managers. They must be competitive for managers salaries in the banking industry. Your first start to be a bank manager, should be to join Barclays so that you can be selected to join their course with Nottingham Trent University.
