How does flying for an airline work?
hi, I'm a student at spartan college of aeronautics and technology.I'm training to be a pilot and one day hopefully fly for an airline. i would like to know how does it work once I'm done with my training? how do i get hired by an airline? Do i go back home in california and fly out from there? Please any help or advice will be very helpful. Thank You.

You would normally start work with an airline as a co-pilot and you would need to achieve a minimum of an Airline Transport Pilot's Licence (ATPL). This is known as a 'frozen' ATPL until you have completed enough flying hours to apply for a full ATPL and qualify as an airline captain... More
