No qualifications, very little experience, how to get a job as a teaching assistant/nursery nurse? UK.?

Hi, My little sister is very down at the moment, she is 21 and has been trying to get a job in childcare for the past 4 years. She does not have qualifications, althought she is currently working towards them. She has very limited experience in the industry and has been doing Admin for a recruitment company for the past 3 years. This is the only job she has had, except for placements at schools through college as a teaching assistant. I was just looking for some advice or help with this as I don't know how to help her. She is really bright, and fantastic with children but she just needs someone to give her a chance. Also, she does not want to do full time work for £6000 or whatever, she is currently on around £15,000 and is hoping to get her own place soon and this just wouldn't work. She realises that she will have to take a pay cut, but almost £10,000 difference is just too much. She is so unhappy, as she is at her wits end, and in a job that is completely wrong for her, in a real cut throat industry, and it just isn't right. She is looking for any of the following; nursery nurse, teaching assistant, child carer etc. or similar. She lives in Oldham in the North West. Please can somebody help :o) x
