Don't believe rumours. So what if the teacher is mean. It's part of life - learn to live with it; not everyone is nice. You might just learn something. Remember, teachers are there to teach and students are there to learn. And perhaps you'll also learn how to deal with mean bosses when the time comes.

You know the answer to that one. Rumors can't be trusted. For all you know, the person who started the rumor was mad because s/he didn't do well in this teacher's class. I heard that my science teacher and my old French teacher were mean, and they turned out to be really nice. Don't believe rumors. This is something you have to find out for yourself.

Haha, I'm a fifth grade teacher and there are rumors that I'm mean. I am strict, and I do have high expectations, but I can be really fun too! We just finished the first week of school, and one of my boys already asked the principal if he could switch classes, LOL :)
