How to get ASL certified. ?

I am a junior in college and am really interested in getting certified in American Sign Language. My school doesn't offer anything like that. I know the community college down the road offers a 2 yr program. I am wondering if all programs are 2 yrs like that? and if I could enroll when I graduate? Do most community colleges off certification?
