I haven't seen "testing" before, but entry level for software engineer in my neck of the woods is $65k.

listen every one is scared that if they go into technology they will be without a job. They dont realize everything nowadays is based on tech. now to answer your question - yes!!! It is a great job and pays well too

It is a somewhat promising job. Doesn't take too much time away from your family or life. You would be able to work out of the comfort of you home in most cases. But other times the company will require you to work at their factory... More

You have the opportunity to try out new products and analising products you are testing out to determine on what to improve, productivity wise as well as security features....It aint an easy task.
