Harley Davidson Basic Info Please?
I have an interview at a harley store in a few days. I love motorcycles but really dont know about them. Can anyone help me with basics you shold know about harleys. I would love to work there, knowledge isn't required but I would like to have base knowledge to up my chances. Thanks!

Visit the website for sure. That will give you a sense of the company. Don't just look at the bikes, look at the other stuff. Go to the Harley Davidson website and you can see the different models and specifications etc. Also pick up some bike magazines such as American Iron .Read all you can and slowly you will become very knowledgeable about Harley's.............ujn

You will probably sell apparell not bikes. Get familiar with as much of the product line as possible. People are gonna ask your opinion and for reccomendations. Harley has a huge assoetment so try to get familiar with it. HARLEY IS #1

Harley's are American bikes. Harley riders are proud riders. That is all the basics you need to know. You will learn the rest on the job. No kidding. Just be enthusiastic about the job.

I agree with everyone who sez to go hang out in the store a bit first. You couldn't pay me enough to have to deal with the cornballs who think Harleys are number one. Like someone mentioned you are probably going to interview for a "motorclothes girl" position. Look at that section of the website, but also familiarize yourself with the different bikes and what family they belong to (softail, dyna, touring, etc... More

argue against it, or feel it's immoral or whatever, but it's true.... pick clothes that show you're hot, that helps in that job... it honestly does if you're fat and ugly, sorry to say, but i wish you luck

Follow the advice given above about visiting. I would do it at a different dealership, myself. Also, do be prepared for the "Motorclothes" sales position. Not many females are bike salesmen. However, the one who sold me mine still doesn't believe I only wanted to read her name tag.
