9 mo pregnant really upset cant install car seat?

spent an hour sweating and bent here and then, trying to get this d... infant rear facing seat to work. It gets tight at the anchors but so loose at the other end. totally lifts. how can I get it not to move? im even using a mighty tight.

If you are referring to the fact that the front of the seat (where it meets the front passenger seat) is able to be lifted up, that's normal. It gives what's called the rebound effect, or cocooning. That end will NOT get tight. Here's how you check for a good install... More

Go down to the local fire dept they can help. Or wait till hubby comes home. Men are so good at figuring that stuff out. Sorry your so frustrated.

Call your local police or fire department. They will almost always be available to look at your car seats and install them correctly for you. The police may have a specific officer that does that, so you'll have to go when he/she is there, but the fire department is pretty much anyone. The only problem there is, if... More

ask the manufacturors or a friend or even someone that has that car sear dont stress your self out so close to d-day(due date) come on how many people can help you, just ask, PLEASE DONT STRESS. And best of luck on your new arrivalXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It is going to have some give on the end that is not anchored down. The baby's weight helps balance it out... a little give is normal. I have mine checked out ALL the time... The Fire Department can help you! Go there (or call & ask them for an appointment) & they will be happy to help. and that way you know it's DEFINETELY installed properly....
