Would it be better for DEI if the owner of the organization attended the races?

when I see team owners at the races, like Jack Roush, and Rick Hendrick, it makes it seem like theres more dedication to the owners teams. It's like that spirit is lacking at DEI It's kind of like the drivers are just "left out there" I think if DEI showed more representation at the races they might be more motivated.

DEI is going down the drain anyway. They don't have the equipment they need and poor management.

yes, she should appear at more races. it would show that she really does care and believe in the team.

no..when i go to the hospital it does not matter if the hospital owner/president sees the surgery.

It would have been better, but that ship has already sailed. Mrs. Earnhardt should have been attending as many races as possible since she took over DEI. Now there is so much resentment against her, she probably wouldn't get a very warm welcome. The team owner getting booed, etc., wouldn't help the team. It might... More

Without a doubt yes. I as a fan when I saw Rick Hendrick in the pit booth with the 88 team at New Hampshire lets me know right there that Rick is interested in getting to the root of the problems. It let's me feel like he cares to make my favorite driver a champion... More

I think it may be a little too late for that now. It would have been better is she had been attending all the races but I think at this point it would just cause problems.

DEI was only good when Sr. was around. The company needs to sell out and give it up. Teresa is a dumb idiot as one could be, just smack her a good few times. Almirola and Truex are really good, but not with DEI.

Let's put personalities out of it for a moment. Can anyone think of any business where an owner doesn't show up for work like the rest of his/her employees? How can anyone be led or motivated when ownership doesn't display any interest or passion for their business? In any endeavor, leadership by example is, without... More

I have made this same argument for the last couple years. I think it is a lack of respect for the sport and their drivers for no one from the organization to be there. If Teresa can't be there then Max should be. Who wants to bet that this is Truex's last year with DEI and goes to Hendrick as soon as Mark Martin... More

I think it would probably make them a more cohesive group, but I think Teresa is embarrassed about how the team has turned, and she doesn't want to show her face. She seems to be a very vain person like that to me. I know Max Stiegal goes to alot of the races, but there's nothing like having the owner there to cheer... More

Absolutely it would benefit the organization. Personally I think that is one of DEI's biggest downfalls. No support from upper management. I don't think Teresa has stepped foot on a track since Dale died. DEI is the only origination that the owner doesn't show up to support HER team. I so wish the step-monster... More

Yes, it would be better if Teresa actually showed up at a track once in a while for numerous reasons.
