Why are we okay with socialism as long as it's in the interest of Corporations?

$85 billion of our tax dollars were used to bail out a company that according to natural selection should have gone extinct. That is socialism my friends.

I am not okay with govt bailiouts. In the end, they make things worse.It was the stupid govt that insisted that more people should own homes and that the banks are discriminatory if they don't lend money to those who don't qualify. we are needed to be out there struggling for the dollars to provide the base or source of money, for those who have the authority to do with it as they please. I have known this since I was a kid. That's what most of us are, ya know, the real providers for the government's BS.
